As a Training Supplier Manager / Training Manager you will be responsible for expanding and in time, managing our clients supplier management team. Your focus will be on indentifying opportunities for learning and development, sourcing relevant trainers and co-ordinating them.
Working as part of a specialist team, you will be tasked with sourcing and managing suppliers of learning and development services. In addition to supporting the commercial director with new supplier research and sourcing exercises, you will develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
Your other duties will include:
- Communicating new offerings from new and existing suppliers to customer services
- Organising and participating in review meetings with major suppliers
- Identifying new suppliers and selecting suppliers to meet client requirements
- Assisting the Commercial Director in supporting sales with input into bids and new business opportunities
To be considered for this position, you must have proven track record in the learning and development or training industry, ideally gained within a diverse, corporate environment.
You must also have experience of translating an organisations operational issue into a training need, and management experience.
As a Training Supplier Manager / Training Manager you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable liaising with staff at all levels. Strong decision making and problem solving skills are also key.
Whilst not essential, a background in the financial services or insurance industries would be an advantage to your application.
